Unique attractions

One of the most interesting points on the Magic Trails of the Mountain Spirit map. A well whose history of creation is shrouded in a hint of mystery. The legend, which you can listen to at the lobby of Czarny Kamień, says that the well was built several hundred years ago and that participation in the work on it is attributed to the Walloons who were supposed to have the secret knowledge and skills, and perhaps this is where its magical power comes from ;-)

The well is 18 metres deep (it's like a 7-storey building). The water in it has been tested, which showed high mineral saturation, it is clean and drinkable.

Looking at the well, it does not hurt to make a wish... or even two... the good onces may come true after all :-)

In 2001 alone, 12 bicycle routes with a total length of 278.3 km were created around Szklarska Poręba, and new ones are still being built.  In Szklarska Poręba itself - a unique on a national scale, about 20 km long network of bicycle routes combined into one loop, which in some places can be covered by train. Single tracks connected by gravel roads enable access from Szklarska Poręba to Jakuszyce. The routes vary in lenght and difficulty, so literally everyone has a chance to use them. However, it should be remembered that cycling is also road cycling, whose fans will be delighted with numerous (often very demanding) routes.

Szklarska Poręba is not only the Izera and Karkonosze Mountains with beautiful routes attracting crowds of tourists, but also many cyclical events (including Bieg Piastów Race, BIKE Marathon, BIKE WEEK or Trójka Górom Festival) and attractions in the town and the surrounding area, such as: Dinopark - Dinosaur Park, LEGO Exhibition, Esplanada Family Amusement Park, Trollandia Rope Park, Park Odkrywców - Rope Park, Leśna Huta Glassworks, Valley of Palaces
